For over 25 years, Lena Grozman Piano School (LGPS) has set the standard for classical piano instruction in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our team of 10 educated, experienced, and dedicated teachers ensures that each student receives personalized guidance tailored to their individual needs according to ability and progress. A testament to our commitment to excellence, the school has been awarded “Best Piano Instruction” for the past 5 consecutive years,
Our artistic and warm environment features beautiful soundproofed studios with well maintained acoustic pianos, a stage for performances and recital room comfortably accommodating up to 60 people. Students opportunity to practice and perform on stage in workshops and recitals, gives students confidence to perform in public. Professional recordings from workshops and recitals are provided to capture and celebrate students progress, and upon request for submission to competitions. Our YouTube channel boasts over 800 recordings from the last 20 years, serving as a source of reference for exceptional performances.
With a proven track record of producing winners of state, national, and international competitions. Many of our students have earned invitations to perform at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York City, showcasing the caliber of instruction they receive at our school.
LGPS offers numerous opportunities for students to engage with the local music community. From recitals and competitions to workshops and master classes, our students have access to a variety of programs associated with esteemed music organizations such as MTAC, CAPT, Steinway Society of Bay Area, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and more.
