Her methods of teaching encourage students to listen to the music, appreciate music and be able to bring out the full beauty of music at the piano keyboard. Mina emphasizes performance in the overall music learning process. Performance can foster self-confidence, and also help cultivate social grace in students, an important personal character even for regular social circumstances. Mina invites parental participation not only during practice but also as students’ early audiences. She is confident that the overall music journey can be a rewarding one for both student and parents.
