Dr. Malgorzata Goroszewska
Pianist Malgorzata Goroszewska performed solo recitals in Poland, Lithuania, Austria, Germany, Spain, United States, Canada, and Taiwan. A Polish native, she grew up with an affinity for Fryderyk Chopin, and was honored for her interpretations of his music by The Polish Institute in Vienna in 2010. She is also an active chamber musician and has performed extensively with the Lincoln Center Stage, “I, Culture, Orchestra”, and Da Camera Young Artist. Malgorzata earned her doctoral degree in piano performance from Stony Brook University under Gilbert Kalish, and her master’s degree from The Juilliard School, New York, under Joseph Kalichstein. Previously, she received her training from the top European music schools -Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and HMTMH in Hannover (Germany).
Malgorzata is an avid educator, having taught at many prestigious music institutions including the Stamford Music Arts Academy and Diller-Quaile School of Music in New York. Her students are recipients of top awards in numerous competitions, such as the Steinway and Sons Piano Competition, New York Concert Festival Competition, AADGT Festival at Carnegie Hall, and Suzanne Culley Competition. Malgorzata is a member of Music Teachers Association of California.
